KPMG China's recent report "HealthTech 50 First Edition" reveals that China has taken a leading position in the global medical large model field. The report indicates that China accounts for more than 70% of the global released medical large models, far exceeding other countries and regions. Looking at the types of models, large language models (LLMs) are the most numerous, accounting for nearly 65%.
Additionally, the report highlights the strong growth momentum of the smart medical equipment market in China. It is expected that by 2025, the scale of the smart medical equipment market in China will reach 24.23 billion yuan and maintain a high growth rate between 2026 and 2027. These data indicate that China is demonstrating strong innovation capabilities and market potential in health technology, especially in medical artificial intelligence and smart medical equipment.
