Baidu is planning to open an entry point for intelligent agents on its desktop homepage. This move means that users may be able to see and access various AI applications directly below the search box in the future. According to reports, this feature is currently in a gray-scale testing phase and is expected to be fully opened to all users soon.
According to sources, once users log in to their Baidu account, the intelligent agents they have used or may be interested in will be displayed in the "My Applications" section below the search box. These agents mainly come from the Wenxin Intelligent Agent Platform, external high-quality AI applications integrated through the Search Open Platform, as well as some Baidu-developed applications.
Although internal information has been leaked, Baidu's official has not yet made a formal response regarding the testing of the intelligent agent application entry point. This move is seen as an important step for Baidu to further integrate AI capabilities and enhance user search experience, indicating that AI applications may become a permanent feature on Baidu's search homepage.
