Autonomous driving maps under the Alibaba Group have reached a deep collaboration with the Tongyi Lab, announcing the development of the world's first AI-native map. This collaborative achievement has been implemented in the Gaode Map 2025 version released recently.
One of the highlights of the Gaode Map 2025 version is the introduction of an intelligent agent called "Teacher Gao." This agent can interact with users naturally through audio, text, and other input methods. To achieve more accurate and smooth interaction, Gaode has collaborated with the speech team from the Tongyi Lab to build a full-chain speech recognition system, covering aspects such as wake-up, recognition, understanding, and announcement.
This enables "Teacher Gao" to provide excellent service in multiple scenarios such as navigation, local life, and casual conversation. Additionally, the application of full-duplex speech technology allows users to interrupt interactions with "Teacher Gao" at any time, ensuring smooth communication.
Furthermore, Gaode Map can efficiently coordinate nearly a hundred internal tools, utilizing the Qwen large model from the Tongyi Lab to achieve spatial understanding. The Qwen series of large models possess globally leading pre-training capabilities, having completed data pre-training of up to 3.6 trillion tokens, empowering Gaode Map with semantic understanding and response capabilities in travel and lifestyle scenarios.
In the Agent field, Gaode and Tongyi jointly developed a complex POI reasoning Agent. This Agent can understand multiple constraint conditions and integrate real-time information to provide users with accurate recommendations and navigation services. Based on Gaode's self-developed DeepResearch framework, this Agent possesses strong planning, reflection, and tool calling capabilities, enabling it to intelligently break down complex tasks and coordinate various tools.
