Recently, Microsoft officially launched its new experimental AI center - Copilot Labs, aiming to invite users to participate in the innovation and development of AI. The core concept of this platform is to provide users with experimental AI tools and encourage them to shape the future of Copilot together with the global community.

The first experimental tool in Copilot Labs is **"Copilot Audio Expression" . This tool uses Microsoft's latest speech generation model to convert written text into natural and smooth voiceover. Users have high levels of control, allowing them to adjust the audio's emotion, personality, and style, such as choosing a gentle tone for bedtime stories or an enthusiastic tone for motivational speeches.

This tool currently supports English and provides two core features: Emotion Mode and Story Mode. Emotion Mode allows users to provide a script outline, and Copilot will perform it according to different styles; Story Mode combines multiple voice styles, making users' stories more expressive. The generated audio samples can be downloaded for free for personal projects.

Microsoft stated that the "Copilot Audio Expression" tool is available worldwide for free, compatible with all modern browsers, but it is recommended to use a desktop computer for the best experience. Notably, Microsoft also emphasized that some features of Copilot Labs may require users to log in to a Microsoft account and have a valid Copilot Pro subscription.

The launch of Copilot Labs marks another important exploration by Microsoft in the field of AI, transforming users from simple technology users into creators and contributors. Through this open innovation model, Microsoft hopes to attract more people to join this wave of AI experiments and jointly explore the infinite possibilities of artificial intelligence.
