On September 10, at the "From Efficiency Innovation to Inclusive Future: AI Empowering Employment Ecosystem Forum" of the 2025 Inclusion · Bund Conference, the Alipay Digital Employment team officially launched the AI employment assistant "Xiaoye." Relying on artificial intelligence large models and digital human technology, it further enhances the experience for companies in recruitment and job seekers in finding work, creating a new model of efficient, intelligent, and trustworthy employment services in the AI era.
Currently, job seekers face issues such as poor matching and slow responses, while companies also struggle with increased competition and high employee turnover.
Zhang Guibin, General Manager of the Alipay Digital Employment Division under the Digital Livelihood Business Unit, introduced that the newly launched AI employment assistant "Xiaoye" will enhance services on both ends of the employment market through four core capabilities: job matching, online interviews, career planning, and training recommendations.
AI job matching can transform from "people seeking jobs" to "jobs seeking people": When job seekers search for "job hunting" on Alipay, they can enter the employment service page and click to chat with "Xiaoye." Through smart interaction with the AI assistant, the system can deeply understand the job seeker's needs and more accurately recommend relevant positions, solving the pain point of job seekers struggling to find suitable positions among a large number of options. Currently, 12 million job positions on the Alipay employment channel have integrated the AI matching function.
AI online interviews allow for no waiting and direct access to the interview process: Previously, after applying for a position, job seekers often had to wait for the employer to schedule an interview and then travel to the interview location, which was time-consuming and laborious. After applying for a position through the AI assistant "Xiaoye," job seekers can directly access the AI online interview room without waiting or traveling, making interviews no longer limited by location or time, thus further improving the efficiency of job hunting. Currently, 150,000 positions have enabled the AI online interview function. After the interview, the AI assistant can quickly generate an interview report for reference and decision-making by the employer.
In addition, AI can be used for career planning. Based on the job seeker's personal characteristics, past experience, skills/certifications, and personal preferences, it can provide actionable suggestions to help with short-term, medium-term, and long-term career development plans.
In terms of career training, AI can identify the gap between the job seeker's current abilities and the target position, and accurately recommend high-quality, carefully selected courses, changing the pain points of traditional career training, such as mismatched supply and demand and disconnection between learning and application.

Currently, ecosystem partners such as Qingtuanshe, Hainai AI, Jianzhi Mao, Yubao Zhipin, Linggonglong Part-time, Youth Social Workplace, Jiyouyuan Daily Settlement, Taoxiansheng, Gongzizai, and Shangke Daily Settlement have already reached cooperation with the AI employment assistant "Xiaoye."
Mo Fan, CEO of Qingtuanshe, who has integrated "Xiaoye" AI services, stated: "Alipay's AI capabilities have brought us two significant improvements. First, the efficiency of person-job matching has improved by about 40%, and second, the AI interview digital human provides 24/7 immediate response. It truly empowers the employment industry and helps increase efficiency."
Liang Gongjun, Chairman of Hainai AI, also said: "Xiaoye has打通 (unblocked) the entire AI recruitment process, helping clients improve their hiring conversion rate by nearly twice. From posting job requirements to having staff on board, the fastest completion time is 24 hours. Throughout this process, all services are online, processes are online, and interactions are online. This scenario was hard to imagine before."
In recent years, Alipay, leveraging its digital platform advantages, has launched the "1 Platform + 5安心s" employment solution. The "1 Platform" refers to the Alipay Employment Platform, adopting a "platform of platforms" model to integrate the full chain of employment service resources, open up technological and product capabilities, and collaborate with government agencies and ecosystem partners to build a digital employment network, precisely matching positions with workers. The "5安心s" refer to "Safe Job Hunting, Safe Employment, Safe Payroll, Safe Training, Safe Protection," providing safer, more reliable, and intelligent end-to-end employment services for workers, comprehensively ensuring safe employment for workers.
As of now, Alipay has collaborated with over 4,000 recruitment and labor-related ecosystem partners, offering 12 million job positions currently open for applications, and has cumulatively served over 120 million users. At the same time, Alipay has initiated multiple initiatives to promote high-quality and adequate employment for key groups such as college students, new blue-collar youths, and on-demand workers.
