Google recently announced that its AI Plus paid subscription service will cover more countries and regions, marking the latest premium service offered by Google One. Users will be able to access advanced AI models and related tools, including Gemini and Veo. This expansion first launched in Indonesia, receiving positive user feedback, and then added support for 40 more countries and regions, covering parts of Asia, Africa, and North and South America.
The AI Plus service sits between the free version and the AI Pro subscription, offering users higher usage limits within the Gemini app. Specifically, AI Plus provides more opportunities for using the Nano Banana image generation and editing model, and opens up advanced features of Gemini2.5Pro and Deep Research.
Additionally, the Veo3Fast video generation model, as well as apps like Flow and Whisk, also enjoy higher usage limits. Each user can get 200 credits per month for Flow and Whisk, which is twice that of the free version, but less than the 1000 credits per month offered by AI Pro.
AI Plus also integrates Gemini features into Google apps such as Gmail, Docs, and Sheets, including services like "Assist with Writing," "Assist with Communication," and "Visualization," providing users with a more efficient experience in their daily work. At the same time, NotebookLM can also use higher audio preview and notebook count quotas. Subscribers will receive 200GB of cloud storage space, which can be freely used across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail, and can be shared with up to five family members, enjoying more exclusive benefits.
For existing Google One members who want to upgrade to AI Plus, they should note that if they subscribed through third-party channels or Pixel Pass, they cannot directly upgrade. Additionally, the official also provided a 50% discount on the new plan, with specific prices varying by region.
Users must be at least 18 years old to use features such as Flow and Gemini2.5Pro. The global expansion of the AI Plus subscription further enhances the usability and professional support of Google's AI services, offering users in different regions more intelligent choices.
