Meta Corporation announced a $14.2 billion AI infrastructure partnership with cloud platform provider CoreWeave. This agreement will allow Meta to access CoreWeave's Nvidia GB300 rack-level AI system, which is based on the latest Blackwell chips. The collaboration will last until December 2031 and may be extended in 2032.

Human-Machine Collaboration

Michael Intrator, CEO of CoreWeave, said in an interview with Bloomberg that Meta is a repeat customer, and previous contracts have made Meta very satisfied with CoreWeave's infrastructure, which is why they chose to cooperate again. He pointed out that this collaboration will help CoreWeave reduce its reliance on a single customer, especially since investors expressed concerns about customer concentration when CoreWeave went public in March this year.

As a cloud platform provider, CoreWeave provides digital resources for AI companies and other enterprises that require accelerated computing. In the second quarter of 2025, Microsoft accounted for 71% of CoreWeave's revenue. The cooperation between Meta and CoreWeave is undoubtedly a significant step for CoreWeave in diversifying its customers.

Recently, CoreWeave also signed a $6.5 billion contract with OpenAI to expand its cloud infrastructure. The achievement of this collaboration marks the recognition of CoreWeave's capabilities by the world's leading innovators, indicating its unparalleled speed in handling complex reasoning and training workloads.

However, in the face of increasingly fierce market competition, CoreWeave also faces challenges from other major infrastructure providers such as Nebius Group, Nscale Global Holdings, and Amazon EC2. Despite this, a representative of CoreWeave said, "Behind every AI breakthrough, there are partners who make it possible. Customers choose CoreWeave because of our cloud services specifically designed for AI, technical expertise, and excellent execution."

Although Meta has not yet made an official response to this collaboration, the signing of this agreement will undoubtedly further promote the development and application of AI technology.
