In today's FORCE LINK AI Innovation Tour Wuhan Station event, ByteDance Engine officially launched four new or upgraded Doubao large models. These models include an upgraded version of the Doubao Large Model 1.6, Doubao Large Model 1.6lite, as well as two newly released models: Doubao Voice Synthesis Model 2.0 and Doubao Voice Cloning Model 2.0. This upgrade not only enhances the intelligence level of the models but also provides enterprise users with more flexible options.
The upgraded version of Doubao Large Model 1.6 is one of the highlights of this release. It natively supports four thinking lengths: Minimal, Low, Medium, and High. This means users can adjust the model's response effect, latency, and cost according to their actual needs. This innovation enables the model to perform excellently in different scenarios. Compared to the previous single thinking mode, the upgraded model reduces the number of output tokens by 77.5%, reduces the thinking time by 84.6%, while maintaining the same model performance.
To meet the demand for high-performance solutions, ByteDance Engine also introduced Doubao Large Model 1.6lite. Compared to the flagship model 1.6, 1.6lite is lighter, faster in inference, and offers better value for money. In enterprise-level application tests, the performance of 1.6lite exceeded that of Doubao Large Model 1.5pro by 14%. In the most frequently used input range of 0-32k, the overall usage cost decreased by 53.3%.
Aside from the upgrades to the large models, ByteDance Engine also introduced Doubao Voice Synthesis Model 2.0 and Doubao Voice Cloning Model 2.0. These two new models have stronger emotional expression and instruction-following capabilities, enabling accurate reading of complex formulas. Based on the Doubao large language model, they possess deep semantic understanding and context reasoning capabilities, thus achieving precise emotional expression. Users can also adjust the speed, emotion, and tone through natural language, making the voice synthesis results more personalized.
This new product release by ByteDance Engine once again demonstrates its strength in the field of artificial intelligence, bringing more intelligent and efficient solutions to various enterprises and individual users.
