On October 22, Huawei officially launched HarmonyOS 6, and initiated large-scale public testing for more than 90 models. This version marks a comprehensive implementation of HarmonyOS's edge-side AI capabilities. Huawei Executive Director and Chairman of the Consumer Business Group Yin Chengdong called it "a new milestone," indicating that the system is moving from being usable to being user-friendly.

The core breakthrough of HarmonyOS 6 lies in the adoption of a new Intelligent Agent Framework (HMAF). This framework allows developers to create intelligent agents with smart interaction and autonomous decision-making capabilities without building their own underlying algorithms, upgrading system interaction from traditional "App tapping" to **"natural language interaction."**

Currently, more than 80 HarmonyOS application intelligent agents have been launched, covering areas such as education, healthcare, and lifestyle services. The adaptation of leading application ecosystems is accelerating, with Tencent having over 60 applications available, while Alibaba, Meituan, and ByteDance will also fully adapt. Among them, the movie performance intelligent agent of Damao, **"Mai Bao"**, and the **"JD Shopping Assistant"** of Jingdong have launched new features on HarmonyOS.

In terms of ecosystem incentives, Huawei has launched the "Tian Gong Plan"**, investing 1 billion yuan in the future to support the incubation of more than 10,000 AI-native meta-services.

Strategically, Yin Chengdong recently took on the role of Chairperson of Huawei's Product Investment Review Board (IRB), seen as the key leader to "win the critical battle in AI." Huawei internal considers AI as the core of development for the next ten years.

In terms of market performance, terminal devices equipped with HarmonyOS 5 have exceeded 23 million units. Yin Chengdong stated that the underlying intelligence capabilities of HarmonyOS 6 have achieved the transformation of "system adapting to people," and expects that with the improvement of the incentive system, "HarmonyOS is expected to catch up with the Android and iOS ecosystems by the end of the year."
