Today, Alibaba's smart hardware brand Kouke officially launched its first self-developed AI glasses and initiated pre-sales across all channels. The product starts at 3999 yuan, with 88VIP members enjoying a special discount of 3699 yuan. It supports payment through the "Look" feature on Alipay, becoming the first intelligent glasses in China to integrate biometric payment.
In terms of design, Kouke AI glasses break away from the bulkiness of traditional smart devices, featuring ultra-thin 7.5mm temple arms and a super-thin frame, with an overall weight of only 42 grams, looking visually identical to regular glasses. Through precise structural optimization, the product achieves a 1:1 balanced weight distribution, providing no noticeable forward or backward tilt when worn, ensuring comfort even after prolonged use.
Hardware configuration-wise, the glasses are equipped with dual flagship chips from Qualcomm AR1 and Horizon BES2800, forming a collaborative computing system. The display module uses dual light engine dual-eye display technology, supporting adjustment of display distance up, down, front, and back, adapting to different vision needs. For myopic users, Kouke offers an integrated fitting solution, allowing users to add prescription lenses directly onto the lens without needing additional frame glasses.
In terms of functional applications, the Kouke AI glasses integrate mainstream features such as calls, music playback, real-time translation, notes, calendar reminders, teleprompter, and photo Q&A. Through deep integration with the Alibaba ecosystem, the product custom developed the Gaode near-eye navigation system, which can directly project route guidance within the user's field of view; the Alipay "Look" payment function allows users to complete payment verification by gazing at products; the Taobao "Search for the Same Item to Price" function can quickly compare prices by scanning items; and Fliggy travel reminders can automatically sync flight and high-speed rail information and send real-time updates.
The shooting capabilities have become a major highlight of this product. The Kouke AI glasses are equipped with Alibaba's self-developed SuperRaw ultra-night mode, which captures detailed and color-accurate photos in low-light environments through multi-frame synthesis and AI noise reduction technology. In terms of video recording, the product is equipped with a dual anti-shake system, combining electronic and optical image stabilization to ensure stable footage during walking or movement scenarios. Test results show that when shooting at night while walking, the image shake is reduced by 67% compared to ordinary devices.
In terms of power supply, the Kouke AI glasses adopt an innovative dual battery and replaceable battery design. The main battery is integrated into the right temple arm, and users can quickly replace it via hot swapping, with a single battery supporting 4 hours of continuous use. During the battery replacement process, the secondary battery in the left temple arm automatically takes over the power supply, ensuring uninterrupted device operation. When used with a portable battery exchange box, users can carry two spare batteries, achieving all-day power supply.
Industry analysts pointed out that the launch of Kouke AI glasses marks a key step for Alibaba in the consumer-level AR field. Its pricing strategy of 3999 yuan is lower than international brand counterparts and builds differentiated competitiveness through ecosystem services. Currently, the product has started pre-sales on Tmall, Kouke's official website, and offline experience stores, with the first batch of 100,000 inventory expected to be sold out within 48 hours.
