Last night, Songyan Power officially launched the pre-sale of its latest humanoid robot "Bumi" on the JD.com platform, bringing the humanoid robot product into the market below 10,000 yuan for the first time with a limited-time price of 9,998 yuan, which has attracted widespread attention in the industry. This move not only broke the long-standing high-price barrier of humanoid robots but also signals the arrival of an era of popularization of humanoid robots.
The Bumi robot introduced by Songyan Power has a height of 94 cm, a lightweight of about 12 kg, and a flexible design with 21 degrees of freedom throughout the body, enabling a variety of functions such as standing up, walking, running, and various dances. It also supports secondary development such as graphical programming and is equipped with supporting courses for ecosystem development, demonstrating a high cost-performance ratio.
When interviewed, Jiang Zheyuan, founder and chairman of Songyan Power, stated directly: "A humanoid robot shouldn't be so expensive." He used the development processes of industries such as smartphones and rocket launches as examples, pointing out that with continuous technological advancements and the realization of mass production, the price drop of humanoid robots is an inevitable trend.
