Recently, the field of embodied intelligence has achieved a major milestone: the world's first new energy power battery PACK production line that realizes large-scale deployment of humanoid robots was officially put into operation at the Zhongzhou base of CATL. The humanoid robot "Xiao Mo" developed by the CATL ecosystem company Qianxun Intelligence has been mass-produced and is now responsible for the most challenging EOL (end-of-line functional testing) and DCR (DC internal resistance testing) processes before the battery packs are taken offline.

This process has long relied heavily on manual labor due to high-voltage plug-in operations involving hundreds of volts, complex environments, and high flexibility requirements. However, the introduction of "Xiao Mo" has not only completely eliminated the safety risks caused by high-voltage sparks but also tripled the daily workload, with a plug-in success rate stably above 99%.

The core brain of "Xiao Mo" is equipped with an advanced end-to-end vision-language-action (VLA) model, giving it strong environmental generalization capabilities. It can autonomously adjust its posture to cope with deviations in the position of incoming materials and dynamically adjust the force when plugging and unplugging flexible cables. Qianxun Intelligence, a star startup less than a year old, has completed three rounds of funding totaling over 1.1 billion yuan in 2024, led by an elite team headed by Han Fengtao, the former CTO of Luoshi Robotics. Investors include Buir Capital, an affiliate of CATL.

The company plans to achieve high-quality data collection of 1 million hours in 2025 and push the shipment to hundreds of units, helping embodied intelligence truly move from "demonstration laboratories" to "serious productivity" in industrial mass production.
