According to AIbase, the newly released image generation and editing model from Google, Nano Banana Pro (officially named Gemini3Pro Image), has achieved remarkable success within less than two months of its release, with global users generating up to 1 billion images using the model.
Since its launch on November 20th, the model has expanded the boundaries of information graphics and illustrations by offering "studio-level" creative control, allowing users to perform localized edits, adjust camera angles, change focus, and modify scene lighting. It can also generate high-quality multilingual text images in 2K and 4K resolutions. The model is now fully supported across multiple ecosystem applications, including AI mode, NotebookLM, Google Slides, Vids, and Flow.

In terms of user benefits and feature upgrades, Google continues to optimize the experience. In December of last year, the "Doodle Editing" feature was added, allowing users to make precise modifications to uploaded images through simple drawings and descriptions. For different groups, Google has set differentiated usage quotas: free users can experience 3 professional-grade image generations per day using the "Pro" mode, after which they can enjoy 100 daily generations using Nano Banana (based on Gemini2.5Flash). Meanwhile, the daily limits for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscription users have been increased to 100 and 1,000 images, respectively.
