Just on February 9th, the "office worker" community received a major positive news: Honor is preparing to install an "AI brain" in the recording function at the system level. According to insiders, Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. is currently working closely with a well-known AI meeting hardware manufacturer Plaud to develop a native AI meeting note function for the OS system.

This means that the phone's voice recorder is no longer just a "voice transmitter."

Previously, if we wanted to convert meeting recordings into text notes, we often had to export files and then spend effort processing them through third-party apps. This time, Honor plans to "do something big" directly within its native voice recording app. With software support provided by Plaud, future Honor phones are expected to achieve "directly creating meeting notes"—you just need to record the meeting, and the system will handle the rest, including summarizing and refining.

Native system-level support is not only convenient but also ensures "seamless integration."

It is worth noting that this technology does not require you to purchase additional hardware. According to insiders, Plaud (owned by Shenzhen Jizhi Connection Technology Co., Ltd.) mainly provides software technical support. For Honor users, this feature will most likely be pushed through an upgrade to the MagicOS version. This kind of system-level integration means faster response speed, stronger privacy protection, and better compatibility with other system applications.

From the layout of AI intelligent agents (Agent) to now focusing on office-specific scenarios, Honor clearly wants AI to truly enter users' daily work. When what used to be a cumbersome process of "meeting review" becomes a "native experience" with just one click, the productivity tools for office workers may undergo another iteration.
