At today's 2026 Xuantie RISC-V Ecosystem Conference, Alibaba DAMO Academy officially launched the new flagship processor, Xuantie C950. As a major product developed over two years, the Xuantie C950 achieved a single-core performance of more than 70 points (SPECint2006), setting a new performance record for RISC-V CPUs worldwide for the first time.

Technical specifications show that the Xuantie C950 uses a 5nm process and has a clock speed of 3.2GHz. Compared to its predecessor, the C920, its overall performance has improved by more than three times, and the memory bandwidth has increased by more than four times. In terms of security, the processor natively supports confidential computing secure isolation and data protection, and fully complies with both mandatory and optional RISC-V extension instruction sets.
