Recently, several voice actors have spoken out, strongly condemning the infringement of AI voice dubbing. Zhang Jiaming, the voice actor who voiced "Taiyi Zhenren" in the "Ne Zha" animated film series, has personally experienced the trouble of his voice being stolen. Zhang Jiaming revealed that since last year, his voice has been illegally used extensively, especially the "Taiyi Zhenren" voice line he created, which has become a major area of infringement. He once counted more than 700 cases of infringement in a single day, which directly affected his livelihood.

Zhang Jiaming said that many partners have stopped working with him because AI voice dubbing similar to his voice is available for free on the market, leading to the loss of multiple commercial orders. To protect his legal rights, he has invested a lot of time and money collecting evidence, but due to the fact that the infringers are mostly minors, it has increased the difficulty of legal accountability, and he has not yet successfully filed a lawsuit.

In addition to Zhang Jiaming, other well-known voice actors, such as Lü Yanting, who voiced "Ne Zha," and Ji Guanlin, who voiced "The Legend of Zhen Huan," have also encountered similar issues of voice theft. In March of this year, the company "Qixiang Tianwai," which specializes in game and animation voice dubbing, issued a statement, firmly opposing any form of AI infringement. The company stated that its artists have long been troubled by AI infringement and have taken judicial remedies to protect their rights. Although the process has been difficult, they will continue to push forward with the rights protection work related to these cases.

At the same time, the Actor Committee of the China Radio and Television Social Organizations Federation issued a solemn statement on April 2, emphasizing that even content labeled as "non-commercial," "public welfare sharing," or "personal second creation" still bears full liability for infringement. This indicates that the industry's opposition to AI voice dubbing infringement is becoming increasingly clear, calling on everyone to jointly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the voice acting industry.
