In the workplace, this uncertainty is particularly strong. About 48% of working-generation Z individuals believe that the risks brought by AI entering the workplace have already exceeded its convenience.
This cautious attitude has also spread into the education system. Although 52% of primary and secondary school students believe that AI skills will be essential for future higher education, they are becoming increasingly conservative about how schools should use AI.

Despite negative emotions, Generation Z is clearly aware that AI is an irreversible trend. This "contradictory mindset" defines the current relationship between young people and technology: they rely on its powerful functions but are also wary of its threats to personal privacy and career prospects.
