Recently, at the AI-eSIM forum of the Mobile Cloud Conference, China Mobile officially launched its new AI-eSIM "1+3+9" multi-ecosystem intelligent service system. The theme of this release is "AI-eSIM: Pioneering a New Era," aiming to provide users with more secure, low-cost, and flexible intelligent connectivity and artificial intelligence services.
Chen Huaida, Vice President of China Mobile, pointed out at the forum that the company actively responds to national strategies and promotes the "Artificial Intelligence +" initiative. By using AI-eSIM, it builds a multi-ecosystem intelligent service system. He said that AI-eSIM will serve as an important entry point for the Token economy, adopting a "Byte+Token+Agent" integrated operation model to promote the development of artificial intelligence.
Chen Huaida proposed three initiatives for industry partners: first, encouraging technology collaboration to jointly develop secure, innovative, and flexible AI-eSIM technologies; second, promoting application innovation to accelerate the full-stack development of "chip + module + platform + data + service"; finally, advocating standard co-building to promote the ecological prosperity of the AI-eSIM industry.
China Mobile's AI-eSIM "1+3+9" system specifically includes 1 AI-eSIM chip access point, 3 core engines, and 9 key application scenarios. At the chip level, the company has achieved four breakthroughs in security, low power consumption, flexibility, and innovation, ensuring each terminal has a trusted digital identity while providing the smallest and lowest-power CAT.1 communication chip in the industry.
Regarding the core engine, AI-eSIM will directly connect to large models, unify identity management, and achieve low-code rapid deployment through intelligent agent services, lowering the barrier to intelligent agent development. This system supports various application scenarios, including toys, home appliances, wearable devices, finance, transportation, and more, promoting the popularization and application of smart terminals.
