Recently, at the Tencent Cloud AI Industry Application Conference, Tencent officially launched LearnBuddy, the first industry application product of the Buddy family, and simultaneously introduced the Enterprise Efficiency Intelligent Agent Suite and upgraded the Agent Cloud Infrastructure, further promoting the industrialization of intelligent agent technology in the education sector. LearnBuddy is based on the same source technology platform as WorkBuddy, integrating intelligent agent platform capabilities with educational scenarios and professional knowledge systems to create an AI self-learning platform that realizes the "teacher-student-machine" tripartite collaboration, accelerating the evolution of education intelligent agents from tool applications to knowledge asset accumulation.

As the first industry-level application of the Buddy family, LearnBuddy integrates core capabilities such as multi-agent collaboration planning, expert avatars, Skills ecosystem, and cross-conversation long-term memory, building a "expert companion" learning model. Among them, the "expert avatar" can co-create and calibrate based on professors' published papers, speeches, private courseware, annotations, and interview materials, forming an AI digital avatar with expert methodologies and decision-making logic, continuously optimizing guidance effects according to students' research directions, learning stages, and historical interactions.
In terms of ecological construction, LearnBuddy has deeply integrated with the ima knowledge base, achieving knowledge asset sharing and accumulation. Teachers can quickly create expert avatars and accumulate teaching experience, while students can build personal learning Buddies and customized growth paths. The platform covers scenarios such as teachers' teaching and research, students' self-directed learning, and school knowledge asset management, supporting the generation of interactive course content, interdisciplinary research collaboration, skill invocation for research, and long-term project management, driving a comprehensive upgrade in teaching, research, and management capabilities.

Currently, Dalian University of Technology has taken the lead in building a full-scenario AI companion intelligent learning platform based on LearnBuddy and has started trial operations. The platform has been applied in multiple scenarios such as AI course assistants, AI research assistants, AI competition partners, AI growth mentors, and campus services, providing 7×24-hour intelligent support for teachers and students.
Tencent stated that LearnBuddy has achieved deep integration with products such as WeCom, Tencent Meeting, Tencent Docs, Tencent Lox, and TAPD, and will continue to open up the expert ecosystem, course ecosystem, and Skills ecosystem, further expanding the application boundaries of intelligent agents in the education industry. With the acceleration of Agent technology entering industrial practice, the education sector is moving from single-point AI tool applications to a new stage centered on knowledge assets and intelligent agent collaboration.
