While AI chatbots generally pursue enthusiastic and lengthy conversations, Apple's new AI assistant takes a different approach. According to The Verge, after previewing the new Siri AI in iOS 27, they found its response style is extremely concise and it never tries to be friendly with users. This cold and rational approach stands out in today's AI market, which often deliberately imitates human characteristics.

Responses Are Extremely Concise
In comparison tests with Google Gemini and ChatGPT, the restrained nature of the new Siri became evident. When asked "How have you been lately?" other AIs would enthusiastically engage in conversation or try to lead into deeper chit-chat, while Siri directly prompted the user to open settings to search for information. Even when faced with emotionally charged personal questions like "Can you be my friend?" or "Do you like me?", Siri only gave polite and brief responses, without the endless chatter seen in other chatbots.
