WeChat Pay officially released the AI Access Toolkit 2.0 version recently. Based on the initial product launched in April, this version has undergone significant upgrades by incorporating feedback from merchants and developers, focusing on three core directions: security, efficiency, and native smoothness.

The new toolkit fully supports nine languages, including Chinese, English, and Japanese, and has adapted the native semantics for WeChat Pay's specific business concepts. This improvement effectively prevents misunderstandings caused by direct machine translation, helping global developers complete the integration process seamlessly in their native language.

Comprehensive Expansion of Core Capabilities

In terms of knowledge base, the new toolkit has significantly expanded its knowledge library. It now covers all product categories of WeChat Pay, expanding from only covering payment and coupons in the 1.0 version.

At the same time, the toolkit has added two new AI capabilities: technical experts and financial-grade R&D experts. The former can provide full-cycle Q&A for scenario selection, process interpretation, and fault diagnosis, while the latter reviews code based on financial-grade security standards to help developers avoid potential vulnerabilities.

Efficiency Boost and Cost Reduction

To ensure a continuous development rhythm, the new version has added a CLI dynamic troubleshooting feature. Developers do not need to exit the coding environment or log in to the merchant backend; they can simply use natural language to check the status of payment and refund orders in real time.

Additionally, the official has converted all timing and status diagrams in the documentation into Mermaid format, making it more suitable for various large models. This optimization has reduced the overall Token consumption by 50% compared to the original HTML document, effectively reducing resource consumption.
