The Alibaba Qwen AI hardware open platform was officially launched, supporting three terminals: APP, PC, and AI glasses. Through the "Skill Platform + Industry Customization" dual modules, it comprehensively opens up the capabilities of the glasses side for developers and enterprises, promoting AI wearable devices to evolve from "fixed functions" to "growable intelligence."

For developers, the Skill Platform provides a full-process development framework, supporting the use of plugins such as "glasses photography" and voice interaction. Developers can even quickly generate applications by describing their needs in natural language. It has already been applied in various scenarios: developing an "What's Around Me" assistive feature for the visually impaired, providing real-time voice prompts about obstacles; in the cultural tourism scenario, triggering background explanations when the user focuses on a building; in the home scenario, the "Recipe Expert" skill guides cooking steps from the first-person perspective.

For enterprise needs, the industry customization module opens up a three-layer technical foundation, including the glasses side, APP, and cloud, covering core capabilities such as image capture and screen rendering. Customized inspection assistants have already been implemented in industrial and retail fields, capable of automatically identifying equipment status, checking shelf displays, and issuing alerts for anomalies.

According to relevant officials, the platform will gradually open up capabilities such as 3D spatial display and motion and health perception. In the future, AI glasses will extend to scenarios such as immersive tours, sports training, and smart home control, becoming an "evolvable" AI assistant that users can customize themselves.
