According to the Financial Times, AI video generation platform Higgsfield has raised $400 million from investors including DST Global, Goldman Sachs, Liberty Global, and Intel, with the company's valuation reaching $5.4 billion. This two-year-old startup is accelerating its expansion of enterprise subscription services, with a clear acceleration in commercialization.

Valuation Quadrupled in 8 Months, Annual Revenue Reaches $7 Billion
This funding round came just 8 months after its previous round—when Higgsfield raised $80 million at a $1.3 billion valuation, founded by former Snapchat executive Alex Mashrabov. The company officially launched in 2025, and its annual revenue reached $7 billion by August this year, compared to only $20 million a year ago.
User growth has also surged rapidly: Higgsfield now covers 238 countries and regions globally, with over 30 million users, with the U.S. being its largest market. From zero to $7 billion in annual revenue in less than two years, its growth curve is remarkable in the AI video sector.
From Teen Filters to Enterprise Marketing Engine
Mashrabov said the new funding will help the company accelerate its expansion into the premium market. Currently, most of its revenue comes from enterprise clients, while this proportion was less than 25% as recently as January this year. He recalled that when he developed face filters at Snapchat, the main target was teenage entertainment. Now, Higgsfield is changing how large enterprises conduct marketing.
New-generation creators and brands are using AI to produce more refined visual content. Hundreds of direct-to-consumer brands, such as Dollar Shave Club, now generate multiple videos daily using Higgsfield, rather than creating just one piece of content per campaign. Mashrabov said that social teams can keep up with the fast-paced content iteration while reducing reliance on expensive creative agencies.
