After introducing asynchronous task capabilities such as scheduled coffee and ride-hailing, Abao (Alipay's AI assistant) has recently launched a new feature - the "Yulai" AI assistance system for taking breaks. This extends AI capabilities from "task management" to "status management," aiming to redefine the fragmented way of taking breaks for office workers.

According to the information, "Yulai" has initially released 500 fish. Users just need to say "Yulai" to Abao, and they can randomly summon a fish, select their "destined fish," and set daily break reminders. The entire process is summarized in three steps: give an instruction to Abao (such as "remind me to take a break at 2 PM every day"), name the task and enable notification permissions, and wait for the daily reminder on time.

The Abao team stated that taking breaks during work breaks used to be unstructured - opening a website, scrolling through a phone, or daydreaming, with no plan and no rhythm. "Yulai" aims to reorganize scattered rest times through AI capabilities, making each short break part of the work rhythm.

From "coffee alarm" and "ride-hailing alarm" to the current "Yulai," Abao's asynchronous task capabilities are evolving from a single tool to a scenario-based service. One-time setup, long-term assistance - this is not only an upgrade of efficiency tools but also a digital response to the "right to rest" of office workers.

This feature is currently available within Alipay, and users can experience it by swiping right.
