Amazon's AGI team has released the largest text-to-speech model ever, featuring the most parameters and the largest training dataset. The team aims to improve the quality of human voices by applying learned knowledge. The new model, named BASE TTS, has 98 billion parameters and was trained on 100,000 hours of recorded data. The team plans to use BASE TTS in educational applications to enhance the quality of human voices in text-to-speech applications.
