This project simulated ransomware attacks on Amazon S3 to practice cloud security monitoring and incident response. Using AWS services such as Athena, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Billing, and GuardDuty, I detected suspicious activity, identified indicators of compromise, analyzed abnormal data retrieval and deletion patterns, and correlated billing.
