On May 26, Luckin Coffee officially launched its first AI assistant (version 1.0) on its official app and WeChat mini-program. This assistant was jointly developed by Luckin Coffee and Volcano Engine, leveraging the Doudou large language model technology to bring users convenient features such as voice ordering and personalized recommendations, leading the coffee consumption industry into a new era of intelligence.
The Luckin Coffee AI assistant, by accessing the Doudou large language model, uses two core technologies: intent recognition and slot extraction, transforming into an "intelligent coffee butler" that precisely captures user preferences for ordering coffee. With simple voice commands or keyword inputs, users can quickly complete their orders, while the system simultaneously analyzes specifications, temperature, taste, and other details, automatically matching the optimal service process to significantly save time spent on ordering. Additionally, this assistant has continuous learning capabilities, optimizing itself based on user feedback to provide a personalized experience that becomes increasingly tailored the more it is used.
To ensure a seamless ordering experience, Luckin Coffee optimizes the AI assistant using prompt engineering from the Doudou large language model, achieving millisecond-level response speeds. It also constructs a real-world ordering scenario dataset to flexibly handle various complex ordering needs, ensuring stable and efficient service. Under the resource support and performance testing provided by the dedicated team at Volcano Engine, the AI assistant ensures stable and sufficient computing power resources even during peak order times or when there is a sudden surge in traffic due to new product launches, simulating scenarios in advance and identifying potential performance bottlenecks to ensure consumers have a smooth ordering experience. Furthermore, the Luckin AI assistant deploys a Volcano Engine large language model application firewall, effectively blocking dozens of attacks targeting large language model applications, comprehensively safeguarding user data security.
