The well-known sports brand Reebok officially announced its entry into the competitive health technology sector last Friday and launched its first wearable device - the Reebok Smart Ring. The smart ring is priced at $249 (approximately RMB 1,767), and can fully record key physiological data such as user activity, heart rate, sleep, stress, and body temperature. Through this data, the ring can generate a "One Score", providing users with immediate feedback on their overall health status and training readiness.
In terms of promotional strategy, Reebok also announced a global partnership with premium fitness chain F45Training. Reebok plans to synchronize the data from the smart ring to the Reebok Fitness app through its sports equipment, helping F45 members and trainers track training, recovery, and overall health conditions, closely connecting the F45 fitness community. This marks Reebok's transformation from a traditional sports equipment manufacturer into a comprehensive health service provider integrating technology and community.
