According to the latest report by Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is accelerating its artificial intelligence project called Apple Intelligence, which is expected to launch a new version of Siri in March next year. This update will also be accompanied by the release of a new smart home display device, featuring a speaker base and wall-mount options to adapt to more home scenarios. At the same time, the new Apple TV and HomePod mini are also expected to be released soon, and they are likely to become important platforms for showcasing the new features of Siri and Apple Intelligence.

Gurman pointed out that the new Siri will "leverage" Google's Gemini system and integrate AI-powered web search functionality. Although this collaboration sounds promising, Gurman also reminded users that it remains uncertain whether Siri will be accepted by the market and whether its functions will run smoothly. Apple has already reached an agreement with Google, paying fees to develop a customized Gemini model that can run on Apple's private cloud servers, providing backend support for Siri.
It should be noted that this does not mean that Siri will directly integrate Google's services or Gemini's features; the user interface will maintain Apple's unique style, and the intelligent support from the Gemini model will be handled in the background. Apple plans to showcase new systems including iOS 27, macOS 27, and watchOS 27 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June next year, with a focus on highlighting Apple Intelligence and the company's broader artificial intelligence strategy.
In the Chinese market, Apple faces challenges in implementing Apple Intelligence. Although it has established partnerships with several Chinese companies, due to regulatory issues, the development of Apple Intelligence in China is progressing slowly, and there is no clear plan for its launch yet.
