According to Sina Technology, KuaiKan Comics has recently been reported to be secretly developing a new AI entertainment product and plans to officially launch it in the market as an independent app.

According to insiders close to KuaiKan, the product is not a traditional AI content generation tool or a simple character interaction tool. Its core lies in building a system framework that can give virtual characters a "soul." Under this framework, AI characters will have complete personalities, memories, and behavioral evolution mechanisms, enabling them to establish long-term and stable emotional connections with users within a defined world view and personality boundaries, rather than just providing one-time dialogue feedback.

This strategic move marks KuaiKan's further transformation from an AI-assisted tool to a deep narrative ecosystem. Looking back at its technical path, KuaiKan has been conducting AI-assisted creation research with universities since 2019; in 2023, it established the AIGC Department, enhancing multi-modal generation capabilities; and in 2025, it launched AI companion interactive comics, laying the technical foundation for the current independent product.

Although the AI entertainment market is still in the phase of user acceptance and business model validation, KuaiKan focuses more on the establishment of underlying logic, aiming to solve the pain points of AI character stability and continuity, thus securing a key position during the industry transition. This move indicates that AI technology is evolving from enhancing productivity to redefining interactive experiences, potentially shaping the form of the next generation of emotional consumption.
