The competition for underlying algorithms in China's intelligent connected vehicles is accelerating into a new phase of compliance and practical implementation. On June 4th, Changan Automobile officially announced that its fully self-developed "Changan Tianshu Large Model" has passed the national cybersecurity office's "Generative Artificial Intelligence Service" filing review. This makes Changan Automobile the first automaker in Chongqing to pass this national-level filing, marking that its independently trained and operated "Tianshu Large Model" has obtained legal qualifications to be open to the public and provide services.

As the technological foundation for Changan Technology's future intelligence, the Tianshu Large Model demonstrated multimodal integration characteristics from the beginning. According to official information, the model can efficiently integrate multi-modal data such as voice, language, and vision, and possesses powerful edge-side perception, intent understanding, logical reasoning, and content generation capabilities across the entire technical stack. In the upcoming product development system, the model will serve as a core base, comprehensively supporting the iteration and evolution of the Tianshu intelligent product series.

In fact, Changan Automobile's research and development layout in the field of intelligence has long shown its ambition for full-stack self-research. At a previous technology press conference, Changan had already publicly announced an end-to-end interactive navigation assistance system based on the Tianshu Large Model—“Tianshu Intelligent Driving Assistance.” With the official approval of the large model's basic filing, the deep integration of cloud computing power and edge-side large models is expected to accelerate further. It is worth noting that Changan Automobile has already successfully obtained the country's first L3-level autonomous driving special formal license plate, which has laid a solid legal and technical foundation for the mass production and vehicle application of its AI intelligent driving large model in the future.
