Content creator "Film Wind" with ten million followers recently launched an AI practical course for 49 yuan, which sold over 100,000 copies on its first day, generating sales of more than 4.9 million yuan in a single day, once again demonstrating the commercial conversion capability of top content IP in the AI education market.

According to the information, the course originally priced at 99 yuan can be purchased for 49 yuan after users redeem coupons. The course consists of 16 lessons, divided into five teaching units, covering basic applications such as AI image generation, video generation, and prompt writing, as well as advanced film production techniques like simulating robotic arm camera movements, bullet time special effects creation, and AI storyboarding generation.

The course was jointly launched by Film Wind and third-party AI visual creation platform TapNow, and is not entirely self-developed. This is the second time that Film Wind has entered the low-cost knowledge payment field, following its 49-yuan video editing course. Previously, the video editing course also achieved sales of over 100,000 copies in a single day, with sales exceeding 5 million yuan.

However, high sales have also led to divided user reviews. Data from the Douyin product page shows that the course has received more than 1,600 positive reviews, along with over 80 negative reviews. Some users believe that the course suffers from content being too templated, lack of practical flexibility, and discrepancies between actual generated results and promotional claims.

According to the information, Film Wind was founded by Pan Tianhong (known online as Tim) in 2014. It now has a total fan base of over 40 million across all platforms, including approximately 16 million fans on Bilibili and about 14 million fans on Douyin. After years of development, the company has grown from an individual creative team into a professional content organization with over 100 employees, and its total revenue reached over 100 million yuan in 2024.

With the rapid popularization of generative AI tools, AI training has become a new business direction explored by content creators and tech companies. However, course quality, practical application value, and user experience will remain key factors in long-term competition.
