Health AI Ant A Fu's "Scientific Weight Loss 100 Million Catties" has made new progress! To help users eat healthily, Ant A Fu announced the upgrade and launch of the "AI Food Photo" feature on July 29. Users can let A Fu calculate the calories and nutritional information of food through photography, text, voice, and other methods, and receive suggestions for healthy diet combinations and exercise plans. They can also let A Fu record their dietary information directly into their health records, with flexible modifications and easy access to check if they have eaten too much or exercised too little, and where they might be hindering their progress.

In June this year, Ant A Fu officially launched the "Scientific Weight Loss 100 Million Catties" health initiative, with nearly 1.5 million netizens participating so far, successfully losing over 2.1 million catties. Diet is an important part of weight management. China's National Health "14th Five-Year Plan" also emphasizes implementing a rational diet action and a healthy weight management action, promoting widespread participation in reducing salt, oil, and sugar. This upgrade of A Fu's "AI Food Photo" function is expected to give everyone an "AI nutritionist," encouraging people to focus on proper diet and nutrition from daily life.
New Upgrade of the "AI Food Photo" Function! Netizens: Let A Fu Eat First From Now On
Journalists found that the newly upgraded "AI Food Photo" function of A Fu is very easy to use. Simply "take a photo, record, and modify" can easily complete the task. Taking a photo of breakfast and sending it to A Fu, the AI automatically identifies that the combination of "corn + tea egg + soy milk" is good, with calories controlled around 350 to 430 kilocalories. A Fu also recommends adding a tomato to supplement vitamin C, and drinking 200ml warm water half an hour after the meal. Although soy milk is a liquid, the amount of water the body can actually absorb is not as much as expected, and warm water can help the stomach digest the coarse fiber in corn.

In addition to taking photos of food directly with A Fu, users can also use text, voice, or combine with photos to trigger A Fu's "nutritional calculation card" to view total calories and nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. A Fu has a great memory; users can simply save the calories and nutritional results of each meal into their health records. The "diet record card" will then fully display past dietary information and remind users whether the calories consumed that day have exceeded limits. During the process of nutritional calculation and dietary recording, information such as the name, weight, and time of the food can be modified more accurately.

"In the past, I ate based on feeling, knowing that I should balance meat and vegetables, and reduce oil, salt, and sugar, but it was hard to evaluate exactly how much I had eaten. Manually recording was also difficult to maintain, which made it hard to succeed in losing weight." Chen, a Beijing worker, immediately used A Fu's food photo function. "It's like I opened a calorie account with A Fu, and the AI helps me see whether I've eaten too much or exercised too little. It tells me how to balance my nutrition better and what order to eat to digest easily without feeling tired. I plan to let A Fu eat first at every meal from now on."
Use AI to Control Your Eating and Get Moving, Millions of Netizens Have Lost Over 2.1 Million Catties
This year is the final year of the national "Weight Management Year." Rational diet and weight management are crucial for the health of every individual and are two key actions clearly outlined in the "14th Five-Year Plan for National Health."
At the end of June, the largest health AI in China, Ant A Fu, launched the "Scientific Weight Loss 100 Million Catties" health initiative through methods such as getting a body fat scale for one cent, upgrading AI-based diet and exercise solutions, and weight loss challenges, gradually becoming the preferred "AI weight loss companion" for the public. As of July 28, over one million users across the country participated in weight loss through the A Fu App, making themselves move more and eat better, with a total of 2.17 million catties lost.
