On July 17, the Chongqing Municipal Health and Wellness Commission officially launched the intelligent service "Yu Xiaojian" for convenient medical care, providing AI-assisted medical services to residents across the city. Citizens can search for "Yu Xiaojian" through the Alipay App or Afu App to use functions such as intelligent triage, cloud companionship, query of examination reports, and AI interpretation.

"Yu Xiaojian" was jointly developed by the Chongqing Municipal Health and Wellness Commission, the Chongqing Municipal Big Data Bureau, and Ant Group. It is built upon the digital infrastructure of Chongqing, the data capabilities of medical institutions, and Ant's AI large model technology. This intelligent service started internal testing in October 2025 at the Chongqing Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and then was piloted in 32 tertiary hospitals, serving more than 2 million users in total.

After its official launch, "Yu Xiaojian" has been connected to 233 medical institutions, covering all secondary and above public hospitals in the city. Among them, 32 tertiary hospitals including the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, and the Chongqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital have launched functions such as cloud companionship, real-time query of examination and test reports, and AI report interpretation, achieving full-process assistance services before, during, and after the consultation.

In terms of report queries, users can view their examination and test results online after authorization, and will receive real-time notifications when new reports are generated. For professional medical indicators such as blood routine and biochemistry, "Yu Xiaojian" can provide simple explanations through AI technology, helping users understand key abnormal items and health advice.

In terms of the consultation process, the cloud companionship service covers check-in, waiting for appointment, examination, payment, and medicine pickup. Users can view the queue progress, department locations, and payment information online, reducing the cost of queuing and information retrieval. Meanwhile, the AI triage supports users to describe symptoms through text or voice, helping match departments and doctors, and providing information on in-hospital services.

As artificial intelligence technology accelerates integration into medical scenarios, the launch of "Yu Xiaojian" marks Chongqing's further exploration of an AI-driven smart medical service model, promoting the development of medical services from offline process optimization to intelligent and personalized directions.
