On September 2, Doulai Work introduced a feature update for the week, officially launching the "Multiple Agents in Parallel" capability and expanding the "Operate Computer" function to the Mac system. The implementation of these two new capabilities marks a crucial step forward for AI assistants, transitioning them from simple conversational tools to all-around agents capable of handling complex tasks and local desktop operations.

In this update, the "Multiple Agents in Parallel" feature became the core tool for improving efficiency. For tasks that are difficult for a single agent to complete efficiently, such as batch processing, modular generation, and multi-dimensional research, the main agent (organizer) will first break down the requirements and assign vertical and specialized sub-tasks to multiple sub-agents to handle simultaneously.
For example, when screening 70 resumes, four sub-agents can each handle 17 to 18 resumes, significantly reducing the overall time required. More impressively, sub-agents can also take on differentiated roles, delivering different forms of output, such as Word, PPT, and HTML, within the same complex task, truly achieving "working separately and submitting assignments individually."
At the same time, the "Operate Computer" feature now officially supports the Mac system, further expanding the application boundaries of AI. This feature does not rely on MCP, API, plugins, or CLI but instead achieves local operations through GUI (Graphical User Interface). Doulai can automatically check the computer screen, simulate manual mouse clicks and keyboard input. Users only need to select the "Operate Computer" skill when creating a new task or directly state their request. After authorization, the operated application will appear as a floating window in the lower right corner of the screen, displaying the real-time image and a blue virtual cursor. The operation process is transparent and controllable. If users need to intervene, they can directly operate on the interface, and Doulai will intelligently pause and wait.
In a practical demonstration, Doulai successfully completed an automatic reservation for a "light lunch box" on Thursday: from switching categories, dealing with coordinate deviations, scrolling to find "Tuna Salad Pasta," to confirming the pickup point and submitting the order, it demonstrated strong environmental perception and self-correction capabilities throughout the process, finally popping up a prompt saying "Successfully reserved 1 meal."
Doulai Work stated that in the future, it will continue to release new features every Wednesday, continuously optimize the collaborative experience between AI and local computers, and make intelligent assistants truly become reliable partners on users' desks.
