On October 27, Ant Group released Lingguang 2.0, launching the "Help Me Manage" feature and pushing AI assistants from "task executors" to "affairs managers." Unlike traditional AI assistants, Lingguang 2.0 can not only answer questions and complete tasks according to user instructions, but also, after receiving authorization, continuously follow up, proactively remind users at key milestones, and move affairs forward. This capability has been applied in multiple scenarios such as consumption, travel, and home.

Lingguang's ability to manage affairs relies on cross-session memory, long-horizon task scheduling, tool connectivity, and an independent cloud host. Even if users exit the conversation, the relevant tasks can continue to run.

In addition, an open ecosystem is an important foundation for Lingguang to achieve cross-scenario affairs management. Lingguang's open ecosystem continues to expand. As of the 3rd, Lingguang has connected 40 external connectors, including Alipay, DingTalk, Feishu, WeChat Read, Hello Mobility, Email, and McDonald's. This means Lingguang can complete information acquisition, task execution, and continuous management across platforms.

It is understood that Lingguang officially launched on November 18, 2025, and gained attention for "generating flash apps with one sentence," with downloads exceeding 2 million within a week. This 2.0 upgrade extends the product's capabilities from content generation and one-off task execution to long-term affairs management.

Industry observers believe that with the development of AI agent technology, personal AI assistants are evolving from Q&A tools into agents with continuous execution capabilities. The latest user scale and number of completed affairs announced by Lingguang also provide a new observation sample for this trend.
