At the 2025 Inclusion·Bund Conference, Ant Group officially launched the world's first intelligent glasses trusted connection technology framework - gPass. This innovative technology aims to address core challenges faced by the AI glasses industry, such as the lack of unified hardware standards, fragmented development ecosystems, and low efficiency in cross-device collaboration. With three core capabilities: "security, interaction, and connectivity," it will drive AI glasses from basic tools to personal smart entities.

Currently, although the AI glasses market has great potential, its development is still in the early stage. Professor Yu Chun from the Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory at Tsinghua University pointed out that the industry faces pain points such as limited hardware computing power, scattered software ecosystems, and a lack of native applications, which severely restrict the deepening and popularization of services. Building a unified, secure, and interconnected underlying infrastructure has become key to breaking through the industry.

Chen Liang, CTO of Ant Group's Big Security, introduced that gPass was born to tackle these challenges. The framework opens up Ant Group's security capabilities accumulated in the financial field to support AI glasses evolving into users' super assistants.

In terms of security, gPass uses technologies such as trusted identity circulation, end-to-end encryption, and device authentication to ensure the security of devices and information transmission, fully protecting user information and privacy. This technology has been adapted to dual system chip-level security solutions for Android and RTOS. In terms of interaction, gPass integrates touchless identity verification technologies such as voiceprint and iris recognition to ensure all operations are performed by the user themselves, improving convenience and security. In terms of connection, gPass can intelligently identify the user's scenario and support instant, secure message interaction with various intelligent entities, bringing an efficient and natural service experience.

Currently, gPass has been first applied to eyewear brands such as Rokid, Xiaomi, Kuaizhi, and LeNiao, successfully achieving "look and pay." Li Hongwei, founder and CEO of LeNiao Innovation, said that gPass provides a convenient and highly secure solution for smart eyewear payments, reduces the development threshold, and sets a new industry benchmark.

In the future, gPass will unleash technological potential in more extensive scenarios such as culture, tourism, travel, and healthcare. For example, in the medical and health scenario, users can conveniently use health consultation and AI diagnosis services through AI glasses, achieving a new experience of seamless and accompanying health care.

Chen Liang stated that Ant Group will continue to deepen the multi-modal human-computer interaction, privacy protection, and multi-device collaboration capabilities of gPass. Through open cooperation, it will empower more AI eyewear forms and intelligent entities, promoting industry progress and bringing users a more natural, efficient, safe, and collaborative smart life experience.
