On November 13, Tencent released its Q3 2025 financial report. Notably, Tencent's total revenue reached 192.87 billion yuan, representing a 15% year-over-year increase. Among these, the ToB (business-to-enterprise) segment performed particularly strongly, with revenue reaching 58.2 billion yuan, an increase of 10% year-over-year. This achievement is attributed to the urgent demand for AI technology from enterprises, with Tencent's cloud services and WeChat Shop technical services becoming key drivers of growth.
Under the continuous deepening of its AI strategy, Tencent's Hunyuan large model remains at the forefront in multiple authoritative technology rankings, providing strong support for the company's core product innovation. Tencent Yuan, an internal AI assistant, has successfully connected multiple applications such as WeChat, Tencent Meeting, and Tencent Video, enhancing user engagement. In addition, the CodeBuddy tool launched by Tencent Cloud has already covered 90% of the engineering community, significantly improving R&D efficiency.

Ma Huateng, Chairman and CEO of Tencent, stated that strategic investments in AI have not only improved the accuracy of advertising targeting and user engagement in games but also enhanced efficiency in areas such as programming, gaming, and video production. The technical architecture of the Hunyuan foundational model continues to be upgraded, and it has now reached industry-leading levels in image and 3D generation.
In the third quarter, Tencent's R&D investment reached a historical high of 22.8 billion yuan, an increase of 28% compared to the previous year. Strong R&D investment has enabled rapid iteration of model capabilities, gradually integrating into various application scenarios. For example, the "reinforcement learning" capability of the Hunyuan large model has been enhanced, making it perform even better in complex reasoning, coding, and scientific research.

Beyond technological advancements, Tencent has deeply applied AI on both personal and enterprise levels. On the personal side, Tencent Yuan introduced an AI voice recorder feature that can interact with users in multiple scenarios. On the enterprise side, the CodeBuddy tool from Tencent Cloud has helped generate 50% of new code, greatly improving development efficiency. Additionally, the upgrade of Tencent Cloud's intelligent computing infrastructure has increased model startup speed by 17 times, providing strong technical support for enterprises.
Notably, Tencent's international business is also growing rapidly, with cooperation agreements signed with several overseas companies, achieving the practical application of AI technology in multiple industries.
