On July 15, Alipay announced a cross-device interconnection collaboration with OPPO, officially achieving bidirectional integration between its AI agent "Abao" and OPPO's smartphone assistant "Xiaobu." This collaboration marks the deep integration of on-device AI assistants with major service ecosystems. OPPO users no longer need to open the Alipay app; they can directly assign tasks to Abao through Xiaobu's voice assistant, significantly shortening the interaction chain from intent recognition to service transfer.

In terms of functional experience, the initial cooperation has integrated nearly 200 lifestyle services, covering frequent scenarios such as movie viewing, dining, travel, and handling social security, housing fund, and pension matters. After users activate Xiaobu via voice, Abao will automatically match the relevant services and handle the preliminary processes in the background. Some services also support background silent execution and proactive notifications, while key payment and authorization steps still require user confirmation.

Upgrades on the technical level impose strict requirements on system versions. Users need to update the ColorOS system to version 16, Xiaobu Assistant to version 12.8.4, Alipay to version 12.12.1, and use an intent execution framework of version 16.1.8 or higher.

This move represents an important exploration of AI Agent (intelligent agent) implementation on the device side. Through a multi-dimensional risk control and device-cloud decoupling technical architecture, it expands the collaborative boundaries between hardware and application ends while ensuring financial privacy, providing an industry model for future cross-platform AI-native application ecosystems.
